Privacy Policy — Arctic Fox: AI Wallpapers

Last updated: 18 October 2026

Who we are

Arctic Fox: AI Wallpapers ("the App") is developed and operated by Arctic Fox Media LLC ("we," "us," "our," or the "Company").

This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App, how that information is used, how third-party service providers may process information, and the choices available to you.

Contact: support.nospam@arcticfoxmedia-remove.net

Where the App is offered

The App is not currently offered in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. If we make the App available in those regions in the future, we will update this Policy before doing so, including with the information required by the data-protection laws that apply there.

Information we collect

The App does not require you to register a traditional user account or provide your name, email address, or phone number in order to use its core functionality.

Your App profile

When you first use the App, Firebase Authentication creates an anonymous sign-in account for the App and a persistent App profile identifier. "Anonymous" here means only that you are not asked for your name or contact details. The identifier is persistent, and the information below is associated with it, so this information is still personal information about you.

We associate the following with your App profile:

Before you link a Google account (see below), we do not link your App profile to your name, email address, or phone number.

Support ID. The App's Settings screen shows a Support ID. This is your App profile identifier. You may include it when you contact us so that we can locate your profile. It is an identifier, not a password: possession of a Support ID alone is not treated as proof that a profile is yours.

Depending on device behaviour, Android backup and restore, reinstallation, or clearing App data, your App profile may not persist. Unless you have linked a Google account, we cannot guarantee that token balances or unlocks survive uninstalling, reinstalling, changing devices, or clearing App data.

Linking a Google account for purchases

Free users can use the App without linking it to any account. Before your first purchase, the App asks you to link your App profile to a Google account. This allows your token balance and unlocks to be restored on reinstalling or changing devices, and allows purchases, refunds, and related records to be associated with a consistent profile.

When you link, Firebase Authentication receives your Google account identifier and basic account information provided through Google sign-in, such as your email address and, depending on Google's response, your display name. We use this only to associate your App profile with your Google account, allow you to sign back in, and administer purchases, refunds, account recovery, and abuse prevention. We do not use it for advertising or marketing, and we do not sell it. Google sign-in is handled by Google and your device; we never receive your Google password.

If the Google account you choose is already linked to a different Arctic Fox profile (for example, one created on another device), the App offers to switch this device to that existing profile. If you switch, the profile previously used on this device is no longer used on this device, and its tokens and unlocks are not transferred.

Technical information

Our service providers automatically process technical information needed to operate, secure, and deliver the App and its advertising, such as:

The App itself does not include Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.

Service providers

Google Firebase

We use the following Google Firebase services:

Our backend also uses related Google Cloud services, including Pub/Sub and Cloud Scheduler, to receive Google Play notifications and run scheduled maintenance tasks.

App integrity checks. Firebase App Check uses Google Play Integrity to confirm that requests to our backend come from a genuine copy of the App installed through Google Play. Google processes information about your device and the App installation and returns an integrity result. Requests that fail this check are refused, so the App's online features work only in copies installed through Google Play.

Google's privacy policy is available at: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Unity Ads

We use Unity Ads, provided by Unity Technologies, to show banner advertisements and optional rewarded video advertisements that you may choose to watch in order to earn virtual tokens. Advertisements may be supplied by Unity or by advertisers and partners participating through Unity's advertising services.

To show and measure advertisements and prevent fraud, Unity and its advertising partners store and access information on your device and may process information such as:

Rewarded-ad verification. To confirm that a rewarded advertisement was completed before a token is credited, we provide Unity with your App profile identifier. Unity may send our servers a confirmation of each completed rewarded view that includes that identifier and a Unity-generated reference for the view. We use this only to credit and verify rewards, apply daily limits, and prevent duplicate or fraudulent rewards.

Unity's privacy policy for app users is available at: https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy

We do not control the independent data practices of advertisers or advertising networks beyond the settings and controls available to us as the App publisher.

Google Play Billing

Purchases are processed through Google Play's billing system. Google collects and processes your payment details. We do not receive your full payment-card number, bank details, or other payment credentials.

To verify, credit, support, and reconcile purchases, we receive or process:

Information you choose to provide

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you include, such as your email address, name if provided, message contents, order numbers, and attachments. We use it to respond, investigate issues, verify or support purchases, comply with law, and protect our rights.

If you save a wallpaper to your device's gallery or set it as your wallpaper, the image is stored or applied by your device and Android. We do not receive a copy.

How we use information

We and our service providers use the information described in this Policy to:

We do not sell personal information for money. Some laws treat sharing identifiers with advertising partners as a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" even without payment. Your advertising choice in the App lets you opt out of this (see below).

Advertising choices

The App shows banner advertisements and optional rewarded video advertisements through Unity Ads. Rewarded advertisements are optional, and the reward is shown before you choose to watch. A limited number can be completed each day (currently two, resetting at 00:00 UTC). This limit may change.

Your ad choice. The first time you open the App, it asks whether you allow personalised advertising. No advertisements are loaded until you answer. If you decline, advertisements are not personalised. You can change your choice at any time in the App's Settings under "Personalised ads"; the change applies immediately, and advertisements already loaded under your previous choice are discarded.

The App passes your choice to Unity as two signals that always carry the same value: a consent signal, and a signal opting out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising where you decline. Your current choice is stored on your device; using Delete App Data resets it, and the App asks again. We also keep a record of each choice you make, as described under Your App profile.

Non-personalised advertisements still involve limited processing, such as IP address, device type, and ad-interaction information, for delivery, frequency capping, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.

You may also manage advertising through your device settings (for example, resetting or deleting your advertising ID) or controls offered within advertisements. Resetting your advertising ID does not by itself delete data Unity already holds; to ask Unity about that, use the options in Unity's privacy policy.

Purchases, refunds, and payment disputes

Purchase records. We keep a record of each purchase, associated with your App profile identifier: the product, Google Play order number, number of tokens, purchase time, how many of its tokens remain unspent, its refund status, and the pseudonymous identifiers attached to it.

Reversals. When Google notifies us that a purchase was refunded, voided, or charged back, we reverse it: the purchase's unspent tokens are removed, and wallpaper unlocks paid for in whole or in part with that purchase's tokens are removed. Any part of a removed unlock that was paid with other tokens is returned to your balance. To do this accurately, we keep a record of which tokens paid for each unlock. We also check Google's list of voided purchases daily, so a reversal may be applied after a delay.

Payment disputes. If a payment dispute (chargeback) is raised for a purchase, Google may ask us for information about it. We may provide Google with: whether the purchased tokens were delivered, the percentage of them that was used, the dates and times they were used, identifiers of the wallpapers unlocked with them, the account identifier attached to the purchase, and our recommendation. This is evidence and a recommendation that Google may use in handling or contesting the dispute with the financial institutions involved; we do not decide the outcome. We do not send your IP address or location for this purpose.

Refund history and purchase restrictions. To review possible abuse of the purchase system fairly, we keep, for each Google account linked to an App profile:

These records are keyed to a one-way hash of the Google account identifier, not to your email address. They are used only to review and apply purchase restrictions and to handle appeals. No restriction is applied automatically: each is reviewed by us. A restriction affects only purchases within the App; it does not affect free wallpapers, rewarded advertisements, or wallpapers you remain entitled to use. You can ask us to review a restriction or event (see Contact us).

Children and teenagers

The App is intended for users aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

For all users, including teenagers, advertising is not personalised unless the user chooses to allow it, and no advertisements are loaded until the choice is made.

In our advertising configuration with Unity, the App is designated as a general-audience app that is not directed to children. The App does not ask users their age, so it does not send Unity an age designation for individual users.

If you believe a child under 13 has used the App in a way that provided personal information to us, contact us and we will review the matter and delete information as required by law.

Data storage and security

App data is stored using Google Firebase and Google Cloud infrastructure. Our backend currently uses Google Cloud regions in Singapore and the United States.

Our security measures include:

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed without authorisation.

International data transfers

Google, Unity, and participating advertising partners may process information in the United States, Singapore, and other countries where they or their service providers operate. Information may therefore be processed outside your country of residence, under different data-protection laws. We rely on these providers' contractual commitments and security measures to protect information they process for us. You can contact us for more information about these arrangements.

Data retention

Information How long we keep it
App profile, token balance, unlocks, token ledger, and record of advertising choices Until you delete your App profile (Delete App Data or a deletion request)
Records used to prevent duplicate rewarded-ad credits Expire 90 days after the rewarded view and are then removed by automatic clean-up (normally within a day). They are not deleted with the profile before then
Purchase records As long as reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, refund, and dispute purposes, including after profile deletion
Refund history and counting refund events Three years from the date we recorded each entry (later updates do not restart this), then deleted automatically, including after profile deletion
Purchase restrictions Until the restriction ends: three years after the latest counting event for a refund-based restriction, or three years after our decision for a fraud-based one. Deleting the profile does not restart or end it
Responses to payment-dispute reviews As long as reasonably necessary for dispute-resolution and accounting purposes
Support emails As long as reasonably necessary to resolve the matter and keep business records
Security and server logs As long as reasonably necessary to keep the service secure, according to our providers' log retention
Database backups Up to 14 days
Deletion log (the identifier of a deleted profile and the deletion date) 30 days. We use it to re-apply deletions if we ever restore data from a backup

Information processed independently by Google, Unity, or advertising partners is retained under their own policies.

Deleting your data

In the App. Settings → Delete App Data deletes from our servers your App profile, token balance, unlock records, token ledger, rewarded-ad counts, and advertising-choice records, and deletes your Arctic Fox sign-in account in Firebase Authentication, including its link to your Google account. It does not delete or affect your Google account or Gmail, which remain yours. On your device, it clears the wallpapers and settings stored by the App, signs the App out, resets your advertising choice, and starts a new App profile with no tokens or unlocks.

Deleting your App profile also removes any tokens you bought and have not used. It does not request a refund.

Without the App. You can request deletion at https://arcticfoxmedia.net/delete-account or by emailing support.nospam@arcticfoxmedia-remove.net. To find your data, we need one of the following:

Because a Support ID is not proof of ownership, we may ask you to verify your request, for example by replying from the linked Google account's email address or confirming purchase details. Without a Support ID, we may be unable to find a profile that was never linked to a Google account. An email request deletes server-side data; it cannot clear files stored on your phone, which you can remove by uninstalling the App.

What we keep after deletion. Purchase records, refund history, counting refund events, purchase restrictions, payment-dispute responses, support emails, security logs, records used to prevent duplicate rewarded-ad credits (until they expire), and the deletion log (30 days), for the periods in the table above, and data in backups for up to 14 days. Google Play keeps its own transaction records under Google's policies.

Wallpapers on your device. The App keeps downloaded wallpapers in its own storage. If you are no longer entitled to use a paid wallpaper (for example, after a refund reversal or after switching profiles), the App removes it from its own storage and from its rotation and wallpaper settings. This does not affect an image that Android has already applied as your home- or lock-screen wallpaper, or copies you saved or shared outside the App, which the App does not access.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

To make a request, email support.nospam@arcticfoxmedia-remove.net. We will verify requests as described under Deleting your data and respond within any deadline that applicable law sets.

Third-party links and advertisements

Advertisements may link to third-party websites, apps, or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the App, our service providers, our advertising or billing, or legal requirements. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where required, give additional notice.

Governing language

This Policy is drafted in English. Translations are provided for convenience. If there is any inconsistency, the English version governs, except where the law of your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
